RAM PRASAD BISMIL -
Today is His Death Anniversary
( JUNE 11,1897 – DECEMBER 19, 1927 )
Ram prasad bismil was born at shahjahnapur in U.P. Bismil is
his pen name. He wrote patriotic poems in Hindi, urdu. He formed a
revolutionary organization in the name of MATRIDEVI ( altar of Motherland )
Ram prasad Bismil was one of the founder members of the
revolutionary organization Hindustan
Republican Association. He is associated with arya samaj. He participated in
Manipur conspiracy in 1918. The Kakori Train Conspiracy in 1925 and struggled
against British Imperialism. He was hanged by the British on DECEMBER 19, 1927
at Gorakpur Jail. His well know poem is “ Sarfaroshi ki tamanna “
